I admit I haven’t ever participated in a writing challenge, mostly because the only one I’d ever looked into was NaNoWriMo, and I just don’t have the ability to set everything else in my life aside for a month. This is much more to my liking–80 days and I set my own goals. Now to see if I can achieve them!
January 3 – 31
Complete character charts and novel blueprint
February 1 – 28
12,000 words (500 words a day, 6 days a week; & any accompanying research)
March 1 – 24
10,500 words (500 words a day, 6 days a week; & any accompanying research)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Check out the goals of the other participants!

I agree the great thing about ROW80 is being able to set your own goals! Best of luck with the challenge, and meeting the goals you set for yourself.
ROW80 is a great challenge to keep you mindful of and working toward what you want to achieve. Best of luck!
I love the flexibility of this challenge…I plan to continue what I started in NaNoWriMo, with the first round devoted to a certain number of minutes per day. (Hopefully, I’ll do more than the 30 minutes, but I didn’t want to pressure myself!).
Then in the next round, some editing….
Here’s where I’m tracking my progress:

BTW, love the title and philosophy of your blog!
Does that say 2010? Isn’t this for like next year, or did you get your hands on a time machine? If so, may I borrow it? I have a few things to fix in recent years.
*sigh* I wish I had time for this, but once school starts, I’ll have a full load. It’s funny, I can’t complete a NaNoWriMo book, but I did complete a 3-Day Novel contest book. WTF?
LMAO–ummm, yeah, it said 2010. I deleted that.
3-day novel??? How the hell does that work?
